That leaves you with these tasks:
1) Make sure you all have clothes on.
(Seriously, though.)
2) Get yourself and/or your family members to the location.
3) Allow yourself to have fun.
4) Trust me and trust the process.
Let me be your guide.
My goal is for you to see YOU the way God sees you and how I see you.
I will not - and do not - approach any photography session assuming you know what you're doing and that your favorite place is in front of a camera. I mean. Maybe it is. But for the other 90% of us, we're here for the ice cream bribery. After photographing over 100 families and 50 seniors, I have come to realize that most camera shyness comes from a lack of direction from... you guessed it... the photographer.

Okay. I'll admit this may be a surprising heading for the "Meet Heidi" section. You were expecting more about me. I have an explanation. This "shoemaker" often avoids making herself some shoes... meaning, I avoid being in front of the camera. But this, my friends, is why we should be friends.
1) My best friend and husband, Gus, and I met in Middle School but didn't date until our senior year.
2) Those are my 3 amazing kids running in the photo up above.
3) My cooler-than-me daughter took the photos of me for this website. I offered her a job. Like, seriously.
4) I am 6'1" which means I get the good angles.
5) My happy place: Snuggling with cats while eating chocolate and reading a book on my back porch in the summertime.
